AGRO.GES has developed its activity outside Portugal and, mainly, in some African Countries. In 1996, at the invitation of the European Commission, it elaborated the Study for the Establishment of a Global Food Security Strategy for Mozambique. Later on and for the Competir Program collaborated in the Market Study for Chówwé and for the Ministry of Industry participated in the National Strategic Development Study of Cassava.
In São Tomé e Príncipe, he participated, among others, in the Study on the comparative advantages between small, medium and large agricultural enterprises and in the Evaluation of the Privatization and Small-Scale Development Program in S. Tomé and Príncipe.
In recent years, AGRO.GES has focused its main international activity in Angola. Of the most important works are the Technical and Economic Feasibility Analysis of Irrigated Perimeters of Caxito and Wako Kungo and the Strategic Plan for the Development of the Perimeter of Matala. For the Angolan Development Bank (BFA), CHEVRON, USAID and the Cooperative of Livestock Producers of Southern Angola, AGRO.GES carried out an important study for the livestock development of the region. In collaboration with AGROPROMOTORA Angola, the BDA, Angola Development Bank, carried out the Study for the implementation of projects for the production of Cereals and Legumes. One of the main areas is support to investors for whom agricultural and agro-industrial investment projects are being prepared, implementation plans for their implementation.
Also in the area of training, AGRO.GES has participated in several initiatives with emphasis on the training of technical staff in the area of Agricultural and Agro-industrial Economy.
