Graduated (2009) and Master (2011) in Territorial Engineering, from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) of the University of Lisbon. with a dissertation on “The Strategic Component in Municipal Plans” developed at the Università di Pisa (Italy).
PhD in Engineering and Management, from IST of the University of Lisbon, in 2021, with a thesis on “Strategic Sustainable Management through Critical Factors for Sustainable Development “.
Carried out complementary training in the areas of: Facilitation, Design Thinking, Foresight, Regenerative Solutions and Sustainability Communication (Global Report Initiative).
Between 2009 and 2021, was a consultant, researcher and project manager in the research group SENSU – Strategic approaches to ENvironment and Sustainability – IST, having as main areas of work the Strategic Environmental Assessment of Territorial Management Instruments, the development and application of the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI), the consultancy in Sustainability Strategies and the development of European research projects.
Worked at RSeT – NGOD for International Cooperation, between 2015 and 2022, as a senior consultant and technical coordinator of projects, developing: Strategic Forestry Plans and Management and Operation Plans for FAO-UN Cabo Verde, in the Assessment of the Impact of Agricultural Rehabilitation in the sector of Komo – Guiné Bissau in Cooperation with the IMVF, and the Socio-Economic-Environmental and Community Assessment of Protected Areas in Guiné Bissau.
In 2022, collaborated on the Environmental Impact Assessment of a Free Trade Zone for Integrated Development in Angola, by the team of GAIA – ESS consulting.
Responsible for the Sustainability Department at AGRO.GES, since April 2022.
