Undergraduate degree in Agricultural Engineering, former technical staff member with the Institute for the Financing and Support of Agricultural and Fishing Development (IFADAP) and subsequently of Banco Pinto e Sotto Mayor.

Collaborator of Professor Francisco Avillez in various agro-economic research projects.

Founding partner of AGRO.GES of which he was General Director until 2002.

Head of the Cabinet of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fishing of the XV Government.

Having returned to AGRO.GES, he is currently a technical consultant and coordinator of the International Department.
